Events Coordinator - 12-month FTC
£30,000 - £35,000 per annum
Brentwood, Essex - Hybrid
Monday-Friday, 9am-5:30pm


This is a 12-month fixed term contract covering maternity leave to start immediately.


Are you a dynamic Events Coordinator looking to make a mark? Join my client's team and be at the forefront of client engagement! We're seeking a passionate individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and loves bringing people together through exciting events. If you're ready to take the reins and ensure seamless execution of the events, we want to hear from you!


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and launch an engaging annual programme of marketing events alongside local partners.
  2. Attend events to ensure everything runs like clockwork.
  3. Manage invitations, confirmations, and all related correspondence.
  4. Research, book, and coordinate venues and services, maintaining excellent communication.
  5. Oversee e-brief communications and local PR initiatives.
  6. Process invoices and manage budgets, negotiating terms when needed.
  7. Keep the CRM (MS Dynamics) system up-to-date and prepare insightful client invitation analyses.
  8. Coordinate relevant networking groups and create new networking opportunities.
  9. Attend external marketing events and host networking functions with enthusiasm.
  10. Schedule Partner and Director client lunches, presentations, and more.
  11. Identify potential work referrers and nurture those relationships.
  12. Research and propose innovative sales processes and business development ideas.
  13. Create PowerPoint presentations to company standards.
  14. Organise and maintain a well-structured marketing filing system.
  15. Manage the social media platforms to keep the brand vibrant.
  16. Use Outlook to centralise and coordinate diaries efficiently.

Qualifications:

  1. Educated to Degree level and/or possess a Marketing qualification.
  2. Proven experience in Marketing and Events Management.
  3. Advanced IT and social media skills.
  4. Familiarity with MS Dynamics as a CRM.
  5. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively.
  6. Excellent writing and e-brief skills to convey messages clearly.
