You will be the key player in bids and tenders with brilliant internal support and represent the business superbly at relevant forums and exhibitions.

You will also support the Business Development Director in the establishment of new revenue streams through the use of frameworks and creating new commercial partnerships.

Your key deliverables will be:

  • Profitable growth within the existing customer base, primarily through maximizing own brand label sales. This role will not have any involvement with existing schools.
  • New account acquisitions within defined target parameters (geographic and otherwise).
  • Strategic engagement of Multi Academy Trusts.
  • Maximizing profit through new revenue channels.

Your key attributes will be:

  • A highly professional, proficient salesperson.

  • A strong, successful negotiator.
  • A commercial thinker, financially literate and successful in balancing customer needs with profit targets.
  • Analytical with the drive and ability to identify, interrogate, and interpret data for high-quality decision making.
  • Self-managing; able to appropriately prioritize and manage your time to achieve positive outcomes.

Your required experience will include:

  • New business development ideally in an education environment, including in-depth involvement in bids and tenders.
  • Developing and executing strategies to acquire customer accounts through being proactive and collaborating brilliantly.
  • Identifying and establishing new revenue streams.
  • 5+ years in sales.
  • Demonstration of new business history.
