Principal System Engineer - MBSE Expert

Location – Warton

Salary - £70-80k

Are you an experienced Systems Engineer with a passion for Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)? We are seeking a skilled Principal System Engineer to lead the strategy and implementation of MBSE across multiple complex domains. This role offers the opportunity to shape the future of engineering practices for leading global industries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and implementation of MBSE strategies and architectures.
• Define and deploy MBSE across the organization, aligning with enterprise goals.
• Mentor teams and drive transformation through MBSE expertise.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (software, mechanical, electronics) to ensure integration.
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable plans for diverse teams.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience: Strong background in MBSE, ideally up to MBSE Architect level, with a proven track record of organization-wide deployment.
• Skills: Expertise in architecture modelling notations, multi-domain product development (software, mechanical, electronics), and agile methodologies.
• Leadership: Ability to guide both formal and informal discussions with stakeholders, ensuring alignment with enterprise goals.
• Certifications: INCOSE certification is highly desirable.
• Education: Masters in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
• Attributes: Exceptional problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
