Job Description

The Job Mission
We are looking for a dynamic self-starter to provide comprehensive commercial and financial support within a project environment. You’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring projects are financially and operationally successful.

Key responsibilities:

  1. Manage the order book, including creation, maintenance, and acceptance of task orders.
  2. Monitor expenditures, track costs, and ensure adherence to budgets.
  3. Reconcile hours and expenses to enable accurate monthly invoicing.
  4. Maintain and update cashflow processes, including aged debt to targets.
  5. Support project delivery by ensuring all resources have correct booking codes.
  6. Highlight issues and risks to the NNB Project Controls Manager.

This role is based in Aztec West in Bristol, working on a hybrid basis (3 days per week in the office).

My profile

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum education standard of 5 GCSEs grades A-C, including English and Maths.
  • Proven experience in project support or administration.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and multitask.
  • Strong numerical skills in managing tasks and budgets.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams).
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a team-focused mindset.
  • Educated to degree level in finance, accounting, business administration, or a STEM field.
  • Hold or be pursuing project controls/project management qualifications (e.g. EVM, PMQ).
  • Experience on NEC3 projects or in nuclear engineering consultancy.
  • Familiarity with project controls software or platforms.
  • Commercial awareness, including cost control and change management.
  • Knowledge of CEMAR or similar systems.
