Must hold a CCST/CCT in psychiatry and have inpatient experience.
Valid GMC registration and evidence of continuing professional development.

Fulfil the role of Responsible Clinician to patients.
Support clinical duties with a dedicated Speciality doctor.

Consultant experience in a Forensic setting

We have an excellent permanent job opportunity for a Forensic Consultant to work for a private inpatient service based in Lancashire. This is a full-time role working alongside a dedicated associate specialist up to 22 forensic/rehab low secure beds.

Salary: £160,000 per annum

Position: Forensic Consultant

Hours: Full time

Setting: up to 22 forensic/rehab beds, low secure

Location: Lancashire

For this role, we’re looking for someone who is:

Previous Consultant experience in a Forensic setting is essential.
You will fulfil the role of Responsible Clinician to patients.
You must hold a CCST/CCT or equivalent in the relevant areas of psychiatry and have experience of working in inpatient settings with people with significant mental health difficulties.
Valid GMC registration.
Evidence of post registration continuing professional development.
Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills.
Excellent knowledge of the Mental Health Act and Code of Practice.
