Summary:

We are seeking an accomplished Senior Sales Director to lead our strategic sales efforts across UK and Ireland accounts. This is a high-impact leadership role, responsible for driving growth within our largest enterprise accounts. The ideal candidate will be a proven big-account sales leader with deep experience in complex deal execution, account strategy, and leading high-performing teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Leadership & Sales Execution:
  • Lead, develop, and inspire a team of senior Account Executives focused on Genesys’ most strategic enterprise customers.
  • Drive large, complex enterprise deals with a focus on cloud transformation and AI-driven CX solutions.
  • Own executive-level relationships with key accounts, positioning Genesys as a trusted partner for customer experience innovation.
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to maximise revenue and long-term growth.
  • Team & Deal Leadership:
    • Build and lead a high-performing big-account sales team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and results.
    • Coach and mentor team members, ensuring they have the skills, tools, and support to succeed.
    • Oversee major deal structuring, negotiation, and closing, leveraging internal resources and executive alignment to drive success.
    • Drive pipeline growth and forecasting accuracy, ensuring consistent and scalable revenue generation.
  • Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Engagement:
    • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, solutions consulting, customer success, and professional services to deliver exceptional value to customers.
    • Work alongside Genesys’ leadership team to drive key business initiatives and ensure strategic alignment.
    • Engage with partners and the broader ecosystem to enhance sales opportunities and expand market presence.
  • Strategic & Deal Execution Skills:
    • Deep expertise in large deal structuring, enterprise account planning, and executive relationship management.
    • Strong ability to lead and orchestrate cross-functional deal teams in pursuit of major enterprise opportunities.
    • Demonstrated success in executive engagement and influencing C-level stakeholders in large enterprises.
