Experience in delivering Management Accounts in a manufacturing environment.
Studying towards a recognized accountancy qualification is preferred.

Are you an Assistant Management Accountant looking for a new challenge? Do you have experience of delivering Management Accounts and supporting operations in a manufacturing or technical services environment? Are you looking for a role where you can help deliver business critical Accounts support and analysis and continue to develop your Accounts skills, experience, and career?

Kingscroft has been asked to recruit for an Assistant Management Accountant for a specialist manufacturing business with a global supply and customer base. As the ideal candidate for the role, you will be confident in supporting a Senior MA in providing management accounts, reports, and analysis to the business.

Your role will involve:

Support month-end actual reporting and planning process within the agreed timeframe
Journal processing and posting, including ensuring the correct accounting of accruals and prepayments
Balance sheet reconciliation
Assisting with quarterly budget reviews/preparations
Producing quarterly VAT returns
Assist in the preparation and submission of all local statutory reporting and tax filings
Support Financial Controller with Ad Hoc tasks
National statistics reporting
Interfacing with auditors during internal/external audit
Supporting accounts payable team with queries and providing daily AP KPI's
Identify opportunities for improvements on all processes/reports
Updating/creating new customer accounts

This is a key role in a busy finance team where delivery is an essential part of the business success.

The ideal applicant will have some manufacturing or technical supply chain experience and be studying towards (study support options are available) a recognised accountancy qualification (AAT/ACCA/CIMA). Our client would also welcome applicants with strong transferable skills from alternative sectors and experienced QBE candidates.

This role is office-based as part of a close working and integrated finance team.
