Assistant Management Accountant

Assistant Management Accountant - Temporary 5-month cover (potential to go permanent). £30,000- £35,000 - Remote

Axon Moore are partnering with a fast growing, global wellness business, who are looking to appoint an Assistant Management Accountant for a 5 month period, with the opportunity to be taken on permanently.

This is an ideal role for someone who has at least 2 years' experience in a similar role, and who can start ASAP. Qualifications towards AAT, CIMA is preferred but not essential. Remote working based in South Manchester, with occasional working at the Stockport base.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Daily inputting of invoices in high volumes.
2. Use systems such as Xero, odu, QuickBooks, Glacius and Dart to complete daily tasks.
3. Assist with monthly prepayments, and accruals.
4. Complete balance sheet reconciliations and produce sales journals.
5. Help to migrate into new accounting systems.
6. Supply information to auditors and help with advance queries.

Knowledge / Skills:

1. Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
2. Have experience in QuickBooks/Glacius/Dart (preferred not essential).
3. Ability to work under pressure and handle high volumes of work.
4. Hardworking and diligent.
5. Have experience with Excel.
6. At least two years' experience working in a similar role.
7. High attention to detail.
