Job description

We have a great opportunity for a Talent Acquisition Assistant to join our People team based in our central London office. This is an ideal position for a recent graduate or for someone with recruitment experience who is looking for a company that can offer genuine career development and progression. This role is an internal role reporting to the Recruitment Manager.

Located in Europe, the UK and US, Proxima is a well-established and leading management consulting firm specialising in procurement. Our clients are some of the world’s largest and most successful companies in Europe and North America. We are experts in our field, helping our clients to reduce spend, increase cost savings and optimise their procurement strategy using innovative thinking.

Your responsibilities will include the following:

  1. Coordinate and arrange interviews
  2. Track applications and maintain candidate database
  3. Post and manage job adverts through the database and relevant related sites (LinkedIn, Indeed, etc.)
  4. Preparing all offer documentation
  5. Organising and supporting UK and US graduate recruitment efforts on an annual basis
  6. Ad-hoc support on tasks or new projects for Recruitment as required
  7. Ensuring candidates are kept up to date during the recruitment process
  8. Provide statistics and reports on candidate activity and manage daily trackers
  9. Supporting screening calls for Professional Support and Centre of Excellence junior level roles
  10. Help manage and respond to queries through the Recruitment admin inboxes
  11. Ensure that all candidate data is processed and dealt with in a confidential and sensitive manner
  12. Holiday/absence cover for the Recruitment Team

Key skills:

  1. Gained some experience in an administrative and/or recruitment role (preferred)
  2. Ability to balance multiple projects and work well under deadlines
  3. A good working knowledge of MS Office programmes
  4. Good interpersonal and presentation skills
  5. Excellent time management skills
  6. Attention to detail
  7. Proactive and calm in a fast-paced environment
  8. Innovative and commercially focused
  9. Ability to maintain confidentiality
