An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a dynamic, enthusiastic and motivated pharmacist to join the Pharmacy Admissions and Discharge Team and deliver high quality clinical care to patients across AMU, Frailty Unit and SAC at the Northern General Hospital Site.
You will work within a well-established team including pharmacists, medicines management technicians, and medicine management assistants to develop your clinical skills. As a valued member of the multi-disciplinary team you will contribute to Post Take Ward Rounds for acute medicine as part of a rota and have the opportunity to be involved in service improvement processes and projects as they arise.
The postholder will be an independent prescriber or willing to complete it.
Good communication, time management, and analytical skills will be required and the ability to work effectively in a team. In addition, you will contribute to pharmacy services in the evenings and weekends, thus maintaining your basic skills and competence.
Applicants must have a certificate in clinical pharmacy and be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
