A supplier of mission critical engineering solutions within the nuclear sector is looking for a number of (Senior / Principal) Mechanical Design Engineers to join their growing team. The business has experience on every licenced nuclear site in the UK and is involved in projects from design concept right through to manufacturing and subsequent commissioning.
The Role
As one of their Mechanical Design Engineers you’ll be responsible for engineering concepts and solutions. This will include producing engineering design and documentation whilst progressing, depending on your experience level, small and medium sized engineering projects. To succeed in the role of Mechanical Design Engineer you’ll need to have experience of a mechanical design focused role with 3D CAD experience (ideally SolidWorks). This mechanical experience will have been on larger products so any experience of working on special purpose machinery (or similar) will certainly hold you in good stead.
The Package
As a Mechanical Design Engineer within this business, you'll receive a salary of up to £64,000 and other benefits including pension (6% employer contribution), private medical insurance, 25 days’ (plus bank holidays) and flexible working. In addition, the company is committed to both training and development along with career progression.
