Job description
Responsibilities include:
- Digital hardware design experience.
- Hardware development for control systems.
- PCB design, especially impedance controlled tracks and EMC aspects for high-speed digital circuitry.
- Knowledge of computer BIOS settings and configuration.
- Hardware/software integration and knowledge of COMs (Computer On Module).
- Knowledge of firmware and programmable devices.
- Use of electronics lab equipment (scopes, DVMs, power supplies, signal analysers, hand tools, soldering equipment, etc).
- Development of EMC and environmental test plans, manufacturing test specifications.
- HW and SW integration, V&V, requirements capture.
- Component level design experience, stress and tolerance analysis, Altium schematic capture & PCB design.
- Obsolescence management, change management/configuration control.
- Preparation of test procedures and reports, engineering reports, design description documents.
