Job description

My client is a major, £225m turnover MEICA specialist contractor. They have opened a new facility and are in the process of building a team to support an £85m E&I Project on Hinkley Point C. The initial project will last around 5 years, with a plan for moving on to a similar package on another major project upon completion.

The current project is for the design, supply, and installation/commissioning of an electrical and instrumentation package on two of HPC's Turbine Halls. Full project scope is:

  • Installation of IPB
  • Design verification
  • Supply and installation of support and containment
  • Installation and testing of electrical equipment, instrumentation, cables, etc.

The role will suit a Project Manager with an engineering background, with previous experience of working on large projects in highly regulated industries (e.g., Nuclear, Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, etc.). This role is delivery-focused, but previous experience of working on either NEC or FIDIC contracts would be beneficial.

This is a new office for my client, and successful delivery of this project will result in further project wins and substantial growth for the team. If progression opportunities are important to you, then this opportunity will be perfect.
