Finance Manager, Permanent job in Telford, £50,000 - £60,000 per annum

Your new role

They are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Finance Manager to join their small finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of their business, driving financial strategy, and ensuring the financial health of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage all financial operations including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
2. Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure effective financial management.
3. Prepare and present financial reports to senior management.
4. Hold monthly meetings with the SMT to talk through financials.
5. Oversee cash flow management and ensure optimal financial performance.
6. Coordinate with external auditors and manage tax compliance.
7. Provide strategic financial insights to support business growth and decision-making.
8. Lead and mentor the finance team of 2.

What you'll need to succeed

The ideal candidate will have previous experience of working in a similar role, they will be confident talking through month-end reports and happy to work in a varied role.
