Job description
Position: Pipe Fitter
Location: Macclesfield
Hours: Mon-Fri, approx 49 hours per week
Start Date: Immediate
Duration: 8 weeks
PAYE Pay Rates: £20.17 per hour, Including Hol Pay
Integrate Engineering Resources are currently recruiting for additional Pipe Fitters on behalf of our client for a water treatment site near Macclesfield. Duties will include:
- Working from drawings, fitting pre fabricated small bore thin wall metric tube and large bare pipework (up to 1 metre in diameter)
- Cutting, threading, and bending carbon and stainless steel pipework
- Assembling and installing piping systems, including fittings, valves, brackets and supports
- Testing piping systems for leaks using pressure gauges and other testing equipment
- Repairing or replacing damaged pipes, valves, or fittings
- Following all health and safety policies
- CSCS card
- NVQ / City & Guilds qualification in Pipe Fitting trade
- IPAF and PASMA cards (an advantage)
- Experience of working on water treatment sites
