Job description

Primary SEN Learning Support Assistant

Protocol Education is looking for caring, supportive, and dedicated LSA's who have experience working with pupils either as part of small groups or on a one-to-one basis. We are recruiting for LSA's to work in primary schools based in Southwark, as well as surrounding areas.

If you have experience as a Teaching Assistant or a Learning Support Assistant and have supported children with a range of SEND's or offered general classroom support, then please get in contact and apply!

The ideal candidate will have:

  1. The ability to work well within a team
  2. Passionate and interested in working with children for SEND
  3. Patient and understanding approach
  4. Available to start as soon as possible

Role description:

  1. Providing 1:1 support
  2. Deliver engaging activities for pupils
  3. Support to ensure working towards therapy targets
  4. Available at least 5 days per week
  5. Work with the class teacher

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
