Step into Teaching have partnered with a lovely primary school in Watford, who are seeking Learning Support Assistants to join their amazing pupil support team. The school is very warm, welcoming and friendly in addition to providing a safe, inclusive environment for all students to feel valued and make outstanding progress in their learning.

Within this role, you will be able to transform the quality of education provided to pupils with SEN / SEND/ SEMH needs. This TA/LSA opportunity will allow you to raise the support needed through small group and 1:1 engagement. You will be guided along the way by a highly respected SENDCo and a SLT that believe firmly that every child matters!

The Learning Support Assistant must:

  • Hold a degree (2:2 or above)
  • Have some experience in an educational setting
  • Have strong subject knowledge within English, Maths, and Science (GCSE A* - C)
  • Be passionate about supporting children with their learning
  • Be able to keep children engaged and motivated
  • Be enthusiastic, friendly, and approachable
