BLOCK-AID LTD HAULAGE AND DRAINAGE SPECIALIST Stockport, England, United Kingdom

This is a full-time on-site role for an HGV Technician/Mechanic located in Stockport. The HGV Technician/Mechanic will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on heavy goods vehicles. Day-to-day tasks include conducting preventive maintenance, diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical issues, and ensuring that all equipment is in safe and working condition. The individual may also be required to document repairs, order parts, and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications
  • Equipment Maintenance and Preventive Maintenance skills
  • Experience in Troubleshooting and Maintenance & Repair
  • Solid understanding of general Maintenance tasks
  • Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Valid HGV Technician certification or equivalent
  • Experience with HGVs and/or a background in haulage and drainage is a plus
