An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced midwife to join the senior leadership team at Saint Mary's Hospital, Central Manchester.
You will need to be able to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a driving passion and determination to support the senior midwifery team in line with the exciting national picture of care and compassion, as well as a local picture of quality improvement. The successful candidates will need to have good knowledge and skill base of both midwifery clinical practice and local leadership.
In this role you will manage a team of midwives and develop practice as a midwifery expert; providing advice to colleagues in the organisation and working in partnership with a range of other agencies.
In this key role you will work closely with the Matrons and Deputy Head of Midwifery and will have access to a bespoke development plan. The role also requires holding the senior midwife bleep.
