Role overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Oracle Cloud Engineer to join our Defence and Security company. As a Senior to Mid-Level Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining code that supports the needs of our customers. You will work on cutting-edge projects, collaborate with a dynamic team of professionals, and contribute to the development of solutions that enhance our national security. Responsibilities:

• Strong knowledge of OCI services (Compute, Storage, Networking, Load Balancers)
• Proficiency in Terraform, Ansible, Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation.
• Experience with OCI Resource Manager, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Experience with VCNs, security lists, IAM policies, VPNs, and WAF; Understanding of compliance (GDPR, ISO 27001).
• Experience with Oracle Autonomous Database, Exadata, Data Guard, and SQL tuning.
• Hands-on experience with workload migration strategies (Lift & Shift, Re-platforming).
• Experience with OCI Monitoring, Logging, and Performance tuning best practices.
• Experience with Kubernetes (OKE), Docker, and serverless computing (Oracle Functions).

About the candidate:

• 3+ years of experience in OCI Engineering or Cloud Operations.
• Hands-on experience in provisioning, configuring, and maintaining OCI environments.
• Expertise in hybrid cloud or multi-cloud environments.
• Experience working with DevOps methodologies, CI/CD, and automation frameworks.
• Knowledge of disaster recovery, high availability, and cost optimization strategies.
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent teamwork abilities
• Security clearance or willingness to obtain a security clearance is required
