An opportunity has arisen for a Band 7 Ward Manager based on the Acute Medical Ward at Salford Care Organisation.
L4 is an acute Medical ward within the Integrated Care Division. We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual that is passionate about the care of patients within acute medicine and aspires to deliver high-quality care within a team of innovative professionals where every individual's contribution is valued. You will be a driver for providing high-quality care for our patients, bringing innovative ideas for change and improvement.
Ward L4 cares for patients with various medical conditions. The team works closely with all other members of the multidisciplinary team to ensure the patient is cared for in a holistic manner throughout their inpatient stay to ensure the patient is safely discharged at the earliest opportunity.
The ward is working towards the Nursing Assessment and Accreditation system, which is the Quality Assessment Tool within the organisation. As the ward manager, you would be an integral part of achieving this with the support from the senior leadership and a dynamic team.
We are looking for a senior nurse with appropriate experience and excellent leadership qualities to lead the team. You will use your skills to create a vision, influencing change and ensuring seamless care. The role can be high-pressured at times, and the ability to meet deadlines is essential. You will be supported by the senior nursing team to deliver on what is required within the role.
Within this role, you will also be an integral part of the clinical team ensuring care is delivered to patients.
