We are looking for an experienced, process driven, Digital Project Manager to join our tight-knit Delivery team here at Smart Spaces.

Role responsibilities

  1. Build and manage client relationships, act as a trusted partner, and build trust in all that you and Smart Spaces do
  2. Understand and adhere to processes for managing scope during the project lifecycle, setting quality and performance standards and assessing risks.

    4. Use project management software to ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget
    5. Ensure all staff are briefed on the tasks required of them and the order in which to complete them
    6. Manage client expectations: keep clients happy and informed throughout the project, give updates on schedules, budgets and project progress
    7. Occasional site visits for testing and to support commissioning of systems and sensors
    8. Develop and maintain partnerships with third-party resources, including vendors
    9. Assign and monitor resources to ensure project efficiency and maximise deliverables
    10. Uphold the reputation of Smart Spaces as a whole and not just as an individual
    11. Report project outcomes and/or risks to the appropriate management channels and escalate issues, as necessary, according to project work plan
    12. Assist with pitching for new app projects and coordinating RFI / RFP responses

Role requirements (essential):

  4. Strong attention to deadlines and budgetary guidelines
  5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Role requirements (desirable):

  1. Experience working in the Building / Property sector
  2. Professional certification such as agile, Scrum or PRINCE2
  3. IoT experience to confidently liaise with clients and stakeholders at all levels
  4. Strong attention to detail
  5. Strong leadership skills
  6. Excellent problem-solving skills
  7. Excellent planning and organisational skills
