Cyber Security Consulting Specialist

12-month initial contract

Hybrid working - Manchester (2-3 days per week onsite)

£69 per hour (Inside IR35), 40 hours per week

*Applicants MUST have proof of immediate, on-going and valid eligibility to work full time in the UK and travel within the EU.*

I am currently recruiting on behalf of a Luxury Automotive OEM, based in Manchester, who are seeking a Cyber Security Consultant to join their team.

Job Description

As Cyber Security Consultant, your main responsibilities include:

  • Providing consultation to product teams in security architecture and design.
  • Conducting security reviews of new and existing products and services.
  • Developing and owning architectural solutions that deliver the highest standard of security.
  • Collaborating closely with the Solution Architecture team to ensure the systems are secure by design.
  • Working with engineering teams to create threat models.

Qualifications / Skills needed

  • Software engineering with DevSecOps.
  • Cyber security best practices, security threats, and controls.
  • Application security and threat modelling.
  • SDLC process, technology, and automation in a DevOps environment; with OWASP best practice.
  • Agile delivery frameworks.
