Job description

Location: Birmingham

Salary: £20,000 - £26,000 per year

Hours: Monday Friday, 8.30 4.30

Job type: Full-time, permanent

Bridge Recruitment is helping one of our established clients recruit for an IT Apprentice and an IT Support Coordinator to join their ever expanding team.

For the IT Apprentice role, they will provide you with all relevant training, a very good opportunity for someone who is willing to learn and progress themselves.

Responsibilities Of The IT Support Coordinator
  1. Manage hardware stocks.
  2. Manage software and licensing requirements.
  3. Manage, or where necessary undertake, the installation of new hardware and software.
  4. Capture and appropriately action all IT/Telephony support requirements.
  5. Work to and maintain IT policies & procedures.
  6. Work with internal users, site IT support staff and external service providers to maintain maximum user access.
  7. Maintain the Company’s IT knowledge database.
  8. Participate in UK wide IT/Telephony projects, including integrating new Company acquisitions, Group projects, new UK systems and upgrades.
  9. Embrace/promote the Company’s Core Values, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) commitments and Building Success Together ethos.
Requirements Of The IT Support Coordinator
  1. Practical knowledge of IT/Telephony installations.
  2. Able to work independently (as manager will only be working part-time hours).
  3. Well organised working style.
  4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  5. Able to balance multiple work demands.
  6. Able to communicate effectively on technical and process matters.
  7. Willing and able to adapt in a constantly evolving work environment.
  8. Willing and able to drive to and work at other UK locations.
