Job Title: Supply Flexible Teacher
Location: Portsmouth, Hampshire
Salary: £93 - £140 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: April 2025 or Easter 2025
Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent

About the Role: As a Supply Flexible Teacher, you will step into various classrooms, delivering engaging and effective lessons across different year groups and subjects.

Supply Flexible Teacher Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality lessons following the school’s curriculum and guidelines.
• Foster a positive and stimulating learning environment that encourages pupil engagement and progress.
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively, maintaining a safe and respectful atmosphere.
• Adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of diverse learners, including those with additional needs.
• Follow lesson plans provided or create impromptu lessons when necessary.
• Build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents during short- and medium-term assignments.

Supply Flexible Teacher Job Requirements:

• A recognised teaching qualification (QTS, or equivalent).
• Prior experience in teaching, ideally across multiple key stages and subjects.
• Familiarity with the UK education system and curriculum.
• Strong classroom management skills, excellent communication, and the ability to engage and motivate students.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Willingness to work on a casual basis with availability to cover at short notice.
• A genuine enthusiasm for teaching and the ability to inspire students to achieve their best.
• Have an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education.
