Reporting to the MD, based in Cheadle, Cheshire, the E-commerce Manager is responsible for enhancing the company’s e-commerce strategic plan in close collaboration with the Group Marketplace team. Your strategic insights, combined with hands-on marketplace expertise, will be instrumental in solidifying Jumbo Group's reputation as a leader in the UK toy and games industry.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic Execution: Own the strategy and execution of programs to drive sales growth across established and new customers.
- Leadership: Lead the regional Ecommerce team and assist the Omnichannel sales managers with the strategic channel plans to drive Revenue and ROI.
- Channel Management: Directly manage Amazon and pure player accounts focusing on both internal and customer’s economics to drive profitable growth and improved efficiency.
- Effective Negotiation: Negotiate mutually valuable trade and advertising agreements with a natural win-win mentality.
- Data-Driven Decision-Making: Drive a strong scorecard performance against key traffic, conversion, and retail critical metric targets through an analytical approach.
- Cross-Market Collaboration: Act as a strategic inspiring leader in taking a digital-first, customer-oriented market perspective.
- Drive Shared Innovation Agenda: Utilize insights and a test & learn approach to drive turnover and identify future growth opportunities.
- Cross Department Communication: Focus on maximizing effectiveness within the channel with strong teamwork ethic.
- Brand Building: Invest in online platforms to improve brand protection and elevate our brands in the UK market.
- Capitalize Partnerships: Work closely with key partners to improve online business opportunities.
- Communication: Ensure clear reporting so tangible metrics can be continuously improved, measured, and optimized.
Knowledge and Characteristics Required:
- Degree Educated
- 5+ years previous experience within a consumer goods business in Ecommerce
- Amazon expert with understanding of vendor and seller central
- Experience with Amazon Seller Central, eBay, Shopify, and OnBuy
- Ideally, experience with Linnworks & Pacvue
- Strong analytical and numeracy skills
- Creative thinker and solutions-oriented outlook
- Real team player with a collaborative approach
- Highly organized
- Process-driven mindset, adaptable to change
- Ability to work as part of a team or independently
- Enjoy teaming up with diverse colleagues and can travel for business meetings as required
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills
