The Role and What You’ll Do:

This Senior Account Executive position will be part of a dedicated agency team responsible for managing the day-to-day partnership activations of a client’s local, regional and global sports sponsorship initiatives. With a primary focus for the rest of 2025 on Milano Cortina 2026 and UEFA Women’s EURO partnerships. We will be activating MiCo26 with women’s football and further opportunities to work on and into other sponsorships (i.e. FIFA and the NFL), this position will work closely with the Senior Account Managers / Director of the account on all sponsorship activation and execution at a market and regional (EU) level.

You will:

  1. Manage the Olympic approvals process in partnership with the client and their B2B / B2C partners, athletes and rightsholder stakeholders by having an in-depth knowledge of activation guidelines.
  2. Track, manage, update and recap sponsorship / talent activations, approvals and deliverables.
  3. Coordinate and manage talent activations / appearances with local markets.
  4. Liaise with client hub to support in activating their partnerships with clients and partners across Europe to ensure all sponsorship rights are fully utilised and leveraged to drive client business results.
  5. Responsible for the day-to-day management of a client’s sports sponsorships, including interfacing with clients and brand teams, other account team members, and all appropriate agencies/properties to support sponsorship initiatives.
  6. Assist with the creation and implementation of materials to support sponsorship initiatives and client strategy, including preparing marketing activation presentations, guideline documents and materials to be presented to the client, their partners and relevant stakeholders.
  7. Manage finance topics such as processing talent invoices, client POs, vendor forms and the like.
  8. Assist in the strategic development and implementation of sponsorship initiatives, including customized programs/promotions with the client / their partners.
  9. Coordinate with internal teams i.e. experiential, social, or regional sponsorship leads to ensure the client’s brand and sports properties are accurately represented, and managing projects related to sports.
  10. Interact with and provide day-to-day communication to client, vendors, agencies, agents as needed.
  11. Provide and incorporate general insight and industry best practices.

You Have These:

  1. A minimum of 18 months of agency or client-based sponsorship account management experience. Specific disciplines could include sponsorship marketing, event marketing, and/or sponsor servicing. Global property activation and Olympic / Paralympic Games-specific experience is a plus.
  2. Understanding of the business of sports, sports media and sports marketing/sponsorship is highly preferred.
  3. Ability to manage the development and implementation of sponsorship marketing strategy on behalf of client or company.
  4. Ability to manage day-to-day relationships with client, agency(s) and vendors.
  5. Comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  6. Experience with on-site event marketing operations and logistics.
  7. Experience with working with internal teams (account/creative) as well as other agency partners.
  8. Superior client relationship/service skills.
  9. Strong ability to think strategically and creatively.
  10. Ability to problem-solve independently and in groups.
  11. Bachelor’s degree.
  12. Excellent time management, written and oral communication skills.
  13. Proficient in PowerPoint, Excel & Word.
  14. Ability to travel on an ad-hoc basis.
