Job description

A leading manufacturer and distributor of insulated glass consumables to the glazing industry, and part of a multi-national group of companies, is recruiting a Class 2 (category C) driver to join their team.

They really take care of employees, which is recognised with their Investors in People certification. Full in-house product training is provided.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

• Recent experience as a Class 2 (C) driver
• Minimum age of 25 due to insurance requirements
• Maximum 6 points on license with no major endorsements (DD, DR, IN)
• Drivers must possess a digital tachograph card and a valid DQC (driver qualification card), CPC certified
• A good geographical knowledge of the UK road network
• Have a positive attitude and a professional manner
• Be attentive to customer service and company representation
• Be physically active due to the nature of the position, which will include lifting
• Flexibility to drive a Van or up to Class 2 18T with sleeper cab
• A good level of spoken English
