Design Technology Teacher - Long-Term Role (Stockport)

Location: Stockport
Salary: £150-£250 per day
Duration: Long-term

Are you a passionate and skilled Design Technology Teacher looking for a long-term role? We are seeking a dedicated educator to join a thriving secondary school in Stockport to start ASAP until the end of the academic year.

The Role

As a Design Technology Teacher, you will:

1. Deliver high-quality Design Technology lessons across KS3 and KS4, ensuring all students are engaged, challenged, and supported.
2. Plan, prepare, and teach innovative lessons across Design Technology, Food Technology, or related subjects.
3. Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback to foster growth and achievement.
4. Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages creativity and problem-solving.
5. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and promote a culture of excellence.

Requirements

We are looking for someone who:

1. Holds QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
2. Has experience teaching Design Technology subjects at secondary level, including KS3 and KS4.
3. Is enthusiastic about Technology and committed to helping students develop practical and theoretical skills.
4. Possesses excellent classroom management and communication skills.
5. Is passionate about fostering innovation and raising student achievement.
