My client, a leading global professional services organisation, is seeking a Data Engineer to design, implement, and optimise data solutions that drive strategic decision-making. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and contribute to global digital transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design and develop scalable data pipelines, manage ETL processes, and ensure high data quality and integrity.
2. Optimise data models, implement data governance, and troubleshoot data-related issues while ensuring performance and scalability.
3. Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into data solutions, document processes, and integrate modern cloud technologies (Azure Synapse, Snowflake, Databricks).

Skills and Experience Required:

1. Proficiency in Azure Synapse and other cloud platforms (AWS or GCP).
2. Expertise in programming languages like Python, Java, or C#, and tools like SQL, Alteryx, or Excel.
3. Experience with database technologies, including SQL, NoSQL, MongoDB, and Oracle.
4. Knowledge of AI, ML, and BI-driven data architectures and solutions.
5. Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills with a collaborative mindset.
6. Excellent communication skills to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
