Customs Clearance Clerk - Exciting Opportunity!

Are you an experienced Customs Clearance professional or someone with industry knowledge looking for your next role? We're working with a fantastic company seeking a Customs Clearance Clerk to join their team!

Location: Office-based Monday-Thursday, work from home on Fridays
Hours: 08:30 - 17:00 (37.5 hours per week)
Salary: £25,450 per annum + bonus, pension & private healthcare

What You'll Be Doing:

  1. Processing & submitting Import Customs Clearance Declarations
  2. Ensuring accuracy of documentation & charging out duties
  3. Collaborating within the customs team, supporting colleagues when needed
  4. Working to tight deadlines while managing workload effectively
  5. Using customs software (Descartes & Destin8 preferred)

What We're Looking For:

  1. Knowledge of Customs Clearance processes or relevant industry experience
  2. Strong attention to detail & excellent organisational skills
  3. Computer literate - experience with databases & Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook & Teams)
  4. Confident communication skills & a positive, team-oriented approach
