Thisfull-time, term-time onlyrole is ideal for those interested in careers ineducational psychology, mental health, social work, youth justice, or teaching. You will be working closely with children who have experienced significant trauma and have Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, many with Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs).
Gainhands-on experiencesupporting children with SEMH needs in a structured school environment
Work alongside experienced teachers, SENCOs, and pastoral teams
Develop skills inbehaviour management, emotional regulation, and trauma-informed approaches
A long-term opportunity that could lead to a permanent role or support further studies
Supporting pupils with SEMH and complex needs in a well-run, inclusive setting
Building trusting relationships to help children overcome barriers to learning
