This role reports onsite in our London office full time.

The Role

As a Creative Producer & Game Designer at Moonbug, you’ll spearhead the creation of cutting-edge interactive experiences on mobile and platforms like Roblox, working with some of the most recognizable children’s brands worldwide. This position combines game design expertise with imaginative storytelling, challenging you to innovate while maintaining the heart of beloved IP. You’ll push boundaries in free-to-play mechanics, foster dynamic live ops, and lead cross-functional teams toward building captivating worlds around our brands.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize and deliver engaging game loops, interactive events, and multi-platform experiences (including Roblox).
• Collaborate closely with brand stakeholders to ensure characters, narratives, and visuals faithfully represent Moonbug’s IP.
• Prototype new features, integrate player feedback, and refine monetization strategies to enhance retention.
• Direct art, animation, and user experience teams to maintain seamless consistency across all creative deliverables.
• Manage project timelines and milestones in partnership with producers and engineering leads.
• Drive live operations, ensuring fresh content, timely events, and dynamic updates that keep audiences engaged.
• Drive the team towards a culture of innovation.
• Represent Moonbug’s brand vision in stakeholder presentations and industry forums.
• Document the creative process, best practices, and technical guidelines for ongoing knowledge sharing.

Minimum Requirements

• Demonstrated success in mobile game design or creative production, with hands-on experience in Roblox, free-to-play or kids games is a plus.
• Proven ability to translate well-known IP into cohesive game design elements that uphold brand integrity and delight diverse audiences.
• Experience in mobile or cross-platform development, leveraging iterative design and effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Expertise in aligning creative vision with user engagement best practices, including retention-driven content updates.
• Skill in balancing narrative, gameplay mechanics, and educational or family-friendly elements within titles for broad appeal.
• Exceptional communication skills to coordinate between brand stakeholders, development teams, and production leads.
