Corporate Treasury Analyst

What you will enjoy doing
  • This is an exciting role reporting into the Corporate Accounting & Treasury Manager and sits within the Region UK and Ireland Finance team. Working closely within the Treasury team, you will be responsible for supporting the cash management activities for our regions trading entities and all corporate entities ensuring that performance is to a high standard, on time and all controls are adhered to, any weaknesses are identified and rectified whilst working proactively to ensure the achievement of our strategic objectives, both regionally and globally.
  • In this role, you will be responsible for the processing of transactions including intercompany funding payments, FX settlements and other manual payment requests.
  • You will be supporting the Treasury Specialist with all Region UK & Ireland cash management.
  • Performing daily reconciliations of banking activity and in addition prepare necessary variance analysis and resolves discrepancies in an efficient and timely manner.
  • In addition, you will provide support in the areas of intercompany loan portfolio administration, multi-currency netting, and foreign exposure management.
  • Providing Capital Market support including confirmation of FX trades, settlement of share buy back trades and payment of corporate bonds coupons.
  • Furthermore, you will use your skills to analyse banking fees and support the treasury team in implementing process improvements designed to improve operating efficiency and enhance controls.
  • You will be responsible for preparing treasury reports and managing treasury administration tasks.
  • In this role you will be working collaboratively with internal stakeholders such as Taxation, Corporate, Accounts Payable, Accounts receivable and Group Accounting.
  • And lastly, you will have the opportunity to support the Treasury Specialist in key deliverables and ad-hoc projects.
What makes you great
  • You have 1+ years of progressively responsible experience in corporate treasury, banking, or finance.
  • Part qualified or qualified in a recognised Accounting or Treasury qualification.
  • Advanced Excel skills with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Furthermore, you have proven process management and a high analytical mindset and skills.
  • You have a track record of productivity and process improvement.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks at the same time with composure under pressure/deadlines.
  • You also can communicate effectively and influence others at all levels of an organization.
  • A knowledge of SAP would be highly beneficial or use of a similar accounting system.
  • You must have a high level of personal integrity.
