Job description

This successful local firm of Solicitors is currently seeking a hardworking and professional Conveyancing Secretary to join their busy team and provide much-needed support. This is an exciting role where time will be of the essence.

Some of your duties will include:
  • Providing secretarial support for a Partner and a busy team of Solicitors dealing with conveyancing.
  • Typing a wide range of legal documentation including correspondence and legal paperwork.
  • Coordinating busy diary schedules and booking internal and external meetings with clients.
  • Opening new client case files, updating regularly as cases progress, and archiving completed files.
  • Managing incoming telephone calls and dealing with general client inquiries where possible.
  • Assisting generally in the office with filing, photocopying, shredding, sending emails, and daily post.
