Job description

Conveyancing Paralegal

Chippenham, Wiltshire

Permanent - Full-time

Monday - Friday 9.00am - 5.00pm

Salary is dependent on experience.

We are currently recruiting for a Conveyancing Paralegal to join our client based in their Chippenham office.

Key Accountabilities

You will assist fee earners with the following:
  1. Compiling and sending out draft contract papers
  2. Drafting AP1's and TR1's
  3. Requesting searches
  4. Dealing with Land Registry and SDLT
  5. Chasing outstanding enquiries
  6. Sending requisition statements
  7. Working closely with the Fee Earners in the team with the aim of continuing the growth of the work within the Department
  8. You will work on both freehold and leasehold sales, purchases and remortgages.

Personal Attributes

  1. You must have 2 years solid experience working within Residential Conveyancing
  2. Be confident and professional in written and verbal communications
  3. Able to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines
  4. Have knowledge of case management systems, and an ability to use online systems such as those used for SDLT submissions, Land Registry applications etc
  5. Communicate regularly with clients for instructions
