Overview

About the role....

As Content Project Manager, your role will be to oversee the end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of content projects. You will work closely with content creators, copywriters, designers, marketing teams, and other stakeholders to ensure content is produced on time, within scope, and to a high standard.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, has a keen eye for detail, and excels at managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

About the work....

  • Oversee and manage the quality of copy and other content deliverables, ensuring high-quality content is delivered to the client
  • Develop and manage content project plans, timelines, and workflows to ensure smooth execution
  • Ensure content aligns with brand guidelines, regulatory requirements, and industry standards
  • Allocate tasks effectively, ensuring deadlines are met without compromising quality
  • Manage team resources and effectively delegate appropriate responsibilities
  • Lead client communications where needed and support junior members of the team with client communication
  • Identify bottlenecks and improve content production workflows to enhance efficiency
  • Assist in the development and documentation of best practices for improving operational efficiencies within the team and the group
  • Assist in training, mentoring, and developing team members

Qualifications

What you need to succeed....

  • Previous experience in a content marketing role within an agency
  • Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello, Monday.com, Jira)
  • Good project management and time management skills
  • Excellent verbal communication skills and must be very comfortable communicating with clients
  • Excellent written skills
  • Organised, with high attention to detail and good project management skills to meet deadlines
  • Reasonable knowledge of SEO and content tools, for example, Semrush, Ahrefs, Google Analytics, Google Search Console
  • Experience with Agile, Scrum, or Kanban methodologies is a plus
