Your New Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Construction Estimator to join their growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for a variety of construction projects, working closely with project managers, quantity surveyors, and clients to ensure competitive and profitable bids.

Responsibilities will include:

1. Preparing detailed cost estimates, tenders, and budgets for major construction projects.
2. Conducting take-offs and producing accurate BOQs (Bills of Quantities).
3. Analyzing project specifications, drawings, and contract documents to determine project scope and requirements.
4. Liaising with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing and negotiate cost-effective solutions.
5. Identifying potential risks and value engineering opportunities within estimates.
6. Working closely with the pre-construction and project teams to ensure alignment between estimating and project delivery.
7. Keeping up to date with market trends, material costs, and industry regulations.
8. Supporting the development of bid proposals and tender submissions.

What You Will Need to Succeed:
Proven experience with major projects as a Construction Estimator within the construction industry.
Strong knowledge of estimating techniques, cost control, and construction methodologies.
Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent analytical and numerical skills with a keen eye for detail.
Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Strong negotiation and communication skills to liaise with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
A proactive and results-driven approach to work.
Relevant qualifications in construction management, quantity surveying, or a related field are advantageous.
