Job Description:
Communications Manager, External Relations
Angel Court, London EC 2R 7HJ – hybrid, 2 – 3 days in the office
Permanent
Full Time (37.5 hours per week)
Salary £50K - £55K depending on experience

You’ll play an active part in promoting and protecting Bupa’s reputation through proactive and reactive communications.
With a strong understanding of the external landscape, infectious enthusiasm, focus and great organisational skills, you’ll work with stakeholders and fellow members of the external relations team to develop proactive consumer and corporate PR campaigns.
You’ll work with senior stakeholders to design and develop strategic campaigns that align to thought leadership and commercial objectives and deliver a joined-up integrated approach across paid, earned and owned channels to enhance our reputation.
You’ll prepare internal briefing notes and provide research and evaluation to proactively build our Bupa story in the UK as a leading healthcare provider and an employer of choice.
You’ll feel confident working on complex issues, think creatively and juggle multiple priorities.
You’ll react and respond to press enquiries, handle media issues and take part in a rota for daily media monitoring and out-of-hour on call duties.
As with all members of the external relations team, you’ll have regular exposure to the Bupa executive and leadership teams in the UK, so working with leaders at a senior level and representing external relations and corporate affairs is a must.
