Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced CNC Miller to join our team. As a CNC Miller, you will be responsible for programming, setting, and operating a variety of milling machines using Heidenhain or Fanuc control systems. The ability to work with milling machines such as Bridgeport, DMG Mori, and VMC 3/5 axis is essential for this role. Experience with Autodesk CAD/CAM software and a background in the Motorsport or Oil and Gas industries is highly advantageous.

Responsibilities

1. Program, set up, and operate a variety of milling machines using Heidenhain or Fanuc control systems
2. Work with milling machines including Bridgeport, DMG Mori, and VMC 3/5 axis
3. Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure precise and accurate production of components
4. Identify and troubleshoot any production issues to maintain quality standards
5. Work with small batches and maintain a high level of attention to detail
6. Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work environment

Qualifications

1. Proven experience in programming, setting, and operating milling machines
2. Proficiency with Heidenhain or Fanuc control systems
3. Familiarity with Autodesk CAD/CAM software is beneficial
4. Experience in the Motorsport or Oil and Gas industries preferred
5. Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a team environment
6. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot production issues
7. Understanding of safety protocols and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment

Package

1. Hourly rate ranging from 17-21ph
2. Plenty of overtime on Friday afternoons and Saturdays at x1.5 rate
3. 34 days holiday with a Christmas shut down
4. Incentives such as company dinners, bonus scheme and more
5. Day shift working 7.30 to 4.30 Monday to Thursday and a 12.30 finish on a Friday
