Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (Linux/AWS)

• Salary up to £50,000 p/a
• Hybrid position 1 day a fortnight in Stoke on Trent
• Hoping to get someone started in April.
• On-call (1 week in 5/6, once probation is passed, fully compensated)

Who are we?

We are a software house, providing cutting edge solutions to clients in the financial sector. We have multiple teams onsite in Stoke-on-Trent, across data, cloud, infrastructure, and development. Due to the growth of these teams, our Linux team needs an engineer who has a solid background in Linux and Virtual Machines, alongside experience working on AWS.

What you will be doing.

Working to the SLAs set out, you'll be responsible for BAU tasks escalated from the service desk, documentation, and continual client service. You will also engage in project work with designs and implementations of systems, contributing to new solutions and collaborating with other technical teams and clients. This role will be based out of the Stoke office, mainly once a fortnight for meetings.

What you need

• Linux SysAdmin/Engineering background
• Experience of working in the cloud with AWS
• Virtual Machines (ESXi/vSphere)
• British Citizenship
