Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Chef de Partie to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in professional cooking and be able to work with recipes and specifications provided to them.

What you will be doing:
  1. Maintain high standards of food hygiene, safety and sanitation policies and document them on a daily basis.
  2. Responsible for all food preparations and duties assigned as per the standard and policies.
  3. Monitor food portioning, food cost and waste control to maintain profit margins.
  4. Responsible for training, guiding and supervising the demi chef’s and commis chefs.
  5. Knowledge and full awareness of all the menus and help senior chef in developing new menus.
  6. Adhere to the hotel policies and procedure.
  7. Seek and provide daily feedback and reporting of issues as they arise to seek guest satisfaction at highest level at all times.

The candidate must be creative, reliable and dependable.

Important: need to have good understanding of English language, must speak English and must have right to work and live in UK.

Salary: from £13.50 per hour

Qualifications

What you will bring:

  1. For this position, you must be self-motivated, a team player and work well in a high-pressure environment.
  2. Have a relevant culinary qualification.
  3. Have proven experience in a Chef de Partie role, ideally with previous experience at a similar standard establishment.
  4. Have excellent use of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and processes.
  5. Have the ability to think on your feet as we have many guest requests and menu changes each day.
  6. Have good time management and the ability to multitask.
  7. Thorough understanding of Health & Safety requirements.
