We're looking for passionate people to join our fantastic kitchen team as a Chef de Partie for our new opening.

We are thrilled to announce our opening in the beautiful town of Godalming in Early summer 2025, so we have an amazing opportunity for a very experienced Deputy General Manager to join our fantastic team.

Nestled in the charming town of Godalming, the former Manor Inn is transforming into The Ragged Robin, a proud addition to the Heartwood Collection. Currently undergoing a multi-million-pound refurbishment, this historic 18th-century gem is being reimagined as a warm, characterful pub with a cosy yet quirky charm. Set against the stunning backdrop of the River Wey and rolling meadows, The Ragged Robin will feature a 150-cover restaurant & bar offering exceptional food & drink, 100 external covers for al fresco dining in picturesque surroundings, and 19 boutique bedrooms for a stylish countryside retreat.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Desire to cook with fresh and seasonal ingredients to produce fabulous dishes.
• Able or willing to learn classical French cooking techniques.
• To be a real team player; it is essential that you are flexible.
• Have great attention to detail and impeccable standards across the kitchen.
• Eager to develop themselves and their dishes with guidance from our Chefs.

The Heartwood Collection currently has over 40 locations, including Brasserie Blanc restaurants and our lovely Heartwood Inn pubs, many of which now feature beautiful boutique bedrooms. We are aiming to grow to 61 sites by 2027, which could add up to 500 bedrooms over the next four years.
