Job Summary
Join the North East and Yorkshire Pharmaceutical Purchasing Consortium (NEYPPC) as an Unlicensed Category Procurement Specialist! This is a fantastic opportunity to apply your procurement expertise within a collaborative NHS environment, making a tangible difference to patient care.

This is a hybrid role with regional travel within the North East and Yorkshire and occasional travel outside the region.

Main Duties of the Job:
As an Unlicensed Category Procurement Specialist, you will manage a portfolio of complex contracts for unlicensed medicines, ensuring compliance with NHS and UK Public Procurement regulations. You'll lead end-to-end procurement projects, from market analysis and supplier evaluation to contract award and management.
Your role will involve collaborating with NHS Trusts, clinical teams, and suppliers to drive cost efficiencies, improve service delivery, and implement best procurement practices. Additionally, you'll contribute to category workplans, perform data analysis, and ensure robust financial monitoring and reporting. With your strategic insight, you will identify opportunities for further collaboration and value generation.
