Business Support Manager - Remote working with National travel 3 times per week.

Salary - £30,000 to £35,000 plus travel costs

Our Transport division are searching for a Business Support Manager to work closely with the operational management team. You will be required to travel nationally to meetings with the operational team up to 3 times per week. You will have line management responsibility of a team of 8 providing proactive, timely and appropriate business support to the department.

As a Business Support Manager, you'll be:

  • Supporting the region, Managing Director and Operations Director at a high level by interacting with our clients, other departments and head office
  • Attending meetings nationally up to 3 days a week (travel costs paid)
  • Managing the business support team with all administration tasks (including recruitments, fleet, training, medicals, inductions).
  • Working on projects and driving the efficacy of processes and systems.
  • Taking ownership of financials, budgets including P&L analysis and reporting
  • Maintaining performance and other data trackers for regions, providing reports and analysis as required.
  • Devising, implementing, delivering and documenting new business processes.
  • Dealing with costing and re-costing of client contracts and liaising with key clients and outside agencies and supporting in issue resolution.
  • Providing general admin support to your region, and any other reasonable tasks as required by MD/RD.

As a Business Support Manager, you'll have:

  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel
  • Ability to communicate well both in writing (emails, letters, presentations, and data reporting) and verbally (calls, meetings, presentations, and Teams).
  • Ability to identify problems, make decisions, demonstrate initiative, and influence change in a fast-paced environment.
  • Appropriate professional, friendly and accessible relationships with colleagues from Partner regions and support services.
  • An investigative and can-do approach and attitude to all tasks.
