Job Title: Business Development Manager – Retail Fit Out
Industry Sector: Business Development Manager, Specification Sales Manager, Area Sales Manager, Specification, A&D, Architects, Interior Designers, Commercial Fit-Out, Retail Fit Out, Design & Build, Commercial Retail, Retailers, Modular Systems, Retail End-Users, Shopfitters, Shopfitting Contractors, Project Manager, Senior Visual Merchandiser, Concept Development Manager, Store Planner, Store Concept Delivery Manager
Area to be covered: London (1 day a week in London office, 4 days visiting clients)
Remuneration: £50,000 - £55,000 + uncapped commission circa £14,000 first year based on turnover
Benefits: travel allowance or £5,000 car allowance & full comprehensive benefits package
The role of the Business Development Manager – Retail Fit Out will involve:
- Business Development / sales position selling a manufactured range of modular systems for the commercial retail sector
- Typical projects would include: Nike, Converse, G-Star, Bayern Munich, Oakley, Mini etc
- Cradle to grave opportunity selling to and generating specification with architects & interiors designers, design agencies, contractors, retailers, end users and shopfitters
- Experience will determine your turnover however will be circa £1m
- Will have KPI alongside turnover targets
- Huge growth potential therefore scope to grow with the business
The ideal applicant will be a Business Development Manager – Retail Fit Out with:
- Ideally sold to high street retailers (as end users), such as Nike, Converse, G-Star and Oakley
- Must have interior products, design & build OR commercial fit-out experience
- Would consider candidates working in project management or sales support role for retail fit out market, looking to step into field sales
- Would consider candidates either working for or selling to shopfitting contractors
- Would consider candidates from a fabrics, wallcoverings, flooring, furniture, modular, upholstery, blinds etc
- Must have passion for retail industry and the design/ layout of stores
- Want to make a difference and go above and beyond for clients
