Business Development Manager

UK (Remote) must be able to attend monthly meetings in West Yorkshire

£35k - £40k DOE + Bonus (Realistic OTE £50-£65k in first year, however Uncapped earning potential) + Car Allowance and Benefits

Ideal location would be; Devon/Cornwall/Dorset/Somerset/Wiltshire/Cotswolds/Bristol/Cardiff/Wales/Weston-Super-Mare

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join this forward-thinking, fast-moving Bed/Mattress Manufacturer.

With a varied portfolio within the Leisure industry, including Holiday Parks, Caravan Manufacturers etc, the Hotel industry and Student Accommodation to name a few.

Responsibilities:

  1. Driving and executing new business sales.
  2. Engaging with customer prospects either new or lapsed and providing complete solutions designed to customer needs.
  3. Understanding growth, customer acquisition and building a pipeline to boost top line revenue.
  4. Increasing turnover and profit, updating and maintaining accurate records.
  5. Reporting weekly activity and anticipated conversion with the owners of the Business.
  6. Maintaining positive business and customer relationships.
  7. Strategically planning and developing a pipeline of new opportunities.
  8. Attending local/regional industry events/exhibitions.

Requirements:
  1. Minimum of 2 years' experience working Business to Business, selling products or service solutions within lettings, retail, the NHS/Care or leisure industry.
  2. Good communicator both written and verbal.
  3. Maintain competitor and market knowledge.
  4. Respond to clients, colleagues, and internal stakeholders in an efficient, timely manner.
  5. Achieve or exceed all agreed sales objectives and outcomes.
  6. Create quality written documents to articulate and support relevant business cases.
  7. Identify and negotiate long term contracts.
  8. Understand Bids, Tenders and PSL opportunities.
