Dynamics 365 Business Central Solution Architect
Location:
Remote | Permanent | Salary: Up to £90,000

Are You a Skilled Dynamics 365 Business Central Solution Architect? Do you have a deep understanding of Business Central architecture, solution design, and implementation best practices? Are you ready to lead enterprise-scale projects, drive digital transformation, and shape the future of Business Central solutions?

This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with commercial and technical teams, define best-in-class solutions, and ensure seamless integrations across business applications. Your ability to align technology with business strategy will be critical to success.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Act as the technical lead and solution owner for Dynamics 365 Business Central implementations.
2. Engage with stakeholders to define solution architecture, gather requirements, and align Business Central with business objectives.
3. Design scalable, high-performing solutions, ensuring best practices in data modeling, security, and integrations.
4. Oversee end-to-end implementations, covering:
1. Solution design & architecture
2. Data migration strategies
3. System configuration & optimization
4. User training & system testing
5. Provide technical leadership to functional consultants, developers, and integration teams.
6. Define and enforce governance, standards, and best practices for Business Central implementations.
7. Act as a trusted advisor to clients, recommending solutions that enhance business efficiency.
8. Drive innovation by staying ahead of emerging trends and new features in Business Central and the Microsoft ecosystem.
9. Take responsibility for technical documentation, knowledge sharing, and mentoring junior consultants.
10. Work closely with pre-sales teams, contributing to solution design, proposals, and proof-of-concept demonstrations.
11. Ensure seamless integration between Business Central, Power Platform, Azure, and third-party applications.

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

1. 7+ years of experience in Dynamics 365 Business Central/Navision (2013+), with a proven track record in solution architecture and enterprise implementations.
2. Deep expertise in Business Central architecture, configuration, and integration methodologies.
3. Strong knowledge of third-party tools such as Continia, Jet Reports, and Power BI.
4. Experience with C/AL & AL development, extending Business Central with custom solutions.
5. Hands-on experience with Azure Services, Dataverse, and Power Platform.
6. Strong understanding of Office 365 and its integration with Dynamics 365.
7. Ability to create scalable reporting solutions using SSRS and Power BI.
8. Experience leading cross-functional teams and mentoring junior consultants.
9. Strong pre-sales experience, including solution design, RFPs, and client presentations.
10. Proven ability to design and deliver high-performance, cost-effective solutions that drive business value.

Desirable Skills:

1. Experience in multi-tenant or multi-company Business Central environments.
2. Knowledge of emerging Microsoft technologies that complement Business Central.
3. Familiarity with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native application design.
