Bid Writer - Edinburgh - Facilities Management

FM Search & Select Ltd is looking for an experienced Bid Writer to join a leading Facilities Management company based in Edinburgh. This is an excellent opportunity for a talented professional to play a key role in securing contracts and driving business growth.

Package:
  1. Salary up to £50,000, depending on experience

Responsibilities:
  1. Manage the end-to-end bid process, ensuring high-quality submissions within deadlines
  2. Research, write, and edit compelling bid responses tailored to client requirements
  3. Work closely with operational teams, sales, and senior management to develop winning proposals
  4. Ensure compliance with bid requirements and evaluation criteria
  5. Develop and maintain a library of bid content, case studies, and supporting documents
  6. Conduct competitor analysis and market research to enhance bid strategy
  7. Support contract renewal processes and tender opportunities
Qualifications & Skills:
  1. Proven experience as a Bid Writer within the Facilities Management or related sector
  2. Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to detail
  3. Ability to translate technical information into clear, compelling content
  4. Understanding of procurement processes and tendering within public and private sectors
  5. Excellent organisational and time management skills to meet tight deadlines
  6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and bid management software
