Beauty & Massage Therapist / Housekeeper, required for our client, a luxury boutique hotel offering an elegant escape in the heart of East Sussex. This new Spa is a tranquil sanctuary inspired by nature, where guests can indulge in holistic treatments using botanical ingredients. We are looking for a skilled and passionate Beauty Practitioner to join the team, providing exceptional treatments in a serene and welcoming environment. Live-in staff accommodation provided.

Role Overview:

As a Beauty & Massage Therapist, you will be responsible for delivering a range of high-quality treatments, including massages, facials, manicures, and pedicures, to ensure an outstanding guest experience. You will work closely with the spa team to create a relaxing atmosphere, tailoring treatments to individual client needs whilst maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and care.

Hours to be flexible in line with the needs of the business as appointments may be concentrated on certain days of the week. Hours at other times may need to be supplemented from undertaking shifts within the hotel's housekeeping department.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Perform a variety of spa treatments, including massages, facials, manicures, and pedicures without supervision.
2. Provide expert advice on skincare and/or wellness treatments.
3. Ensure a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all guests.
4. Maintain high hygiene and cleanliness standards within treatment rooms.
5. Assist in promoting spa services and products.
6. Work collaboratively with the hotel team to enhance the guest experience.

Requirements:

1. NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Beauty Therapy or Massage Therapy - or equivalent experience.
2. Experience in a luxury spa or salon setting preferred.
3. Strong knowledge of holistic and herbal-based treatments is an advantage.
4. Excellent customer service and communication skills.
5. A passion for wellness, skincare, and relaxation therapies.
6. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends.
